** British Heart Foundation Charity Night **
Adelaide Lodge, Sunningdale House, Magnolia House and Netherhayes hosted a gala evening on Fri the 6th February in the Mackarness Hall, Honiton. This was well attended raising hundreds of pounds for the charity. Dignitaries from the areas attended the evening. Residents from Adelaide Lodge and Magnolia House attended the event and very much enjoyed themselves. One Resident – Barbara said “The food is lovely and I’m having such a wonderful time here “
This was a great success; from the delicious buffet to the prize draw; the evening could not have gone any better. We were so pleased we are able to help the British Heart Foundation and have raised over £500 for the charity.”
Of course a thank you must go to the kind donations for the prize raffle in particular Select Windows of Honiton who donated the cash prize. Also a thank you for the kind donation of the widescreen television for the raffle. Costa Coffee must get a thank you for the staff donating all tips earned on the Friday. So again thank you to all who made this event possible. Lastly thank you to the staff who helped setup for the evening.
